BRT OR LRT?
What do netizens make of a proposal to scrap the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project in favor of the Light Railway Transit (LRT) project?
Billy Santos wrote, “No room for BRT… you do need something because traffic is so bad… so it must be LRT.”
A netizen, Emyrald Phyl said in Cebuano, “Anything so long as it gets started. How long will people have to wait? (Mayor Tomas Osmeña) and Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Michael) Dino keep on arguing while the people suffer?”
Arniel Dikinz Lazarte said, “BRT is already approved by NEDA last 2016. BRT is good for Cebu city while LRT is good for Cebu province. It’s best if they go together for Cebu.”
