4th Baddicts Stars badminton tourney unfolds July 15

BADDICTS Stars, the first tournament handler to book July 15 for an event, is gearing up for their 4th Badminton Tournament at the Racquetzone Sports Center in Banilad.

Badminton players, especially those relatively new to the sport, have four days left to register as the deadline has been strictly set on July 12.

As of press time, they have a few more slots left before the levels are closed.

Would be participants are encouraged to play in any of the Baddicts Stars playing schedules: Tuesdays 7-10pm, Thursdays 8-11pm and Saturdays 6-10pm at Racquetzone.

They may also play alongside Smashtime players today 10am-5pm at Metrosports Lahug. This is to allow the leveling officers to gauge the players’ skill and enable them to aptly assign the players in suitable levels.

Participants are assured that the tournament leveling and bracketing is safe from deliberate manipulation as Baddicts Stars tourney organizers are more focused on the promotion of the sport rather than the prospective revenue.

This confers a fighting chance to all the players in their respective levels.

And since they do not accept double entries, the succession of matches is expected to be as efficient as their previous three tournaments.

Interested players may send their entries to Nove (09189212307), Fritz (09176482742), or Wilson (09085886225). Levels E, F, G+ and G- will be up for play.

The P400 registration fee will cover for the court fees, shuttlecocks, cash prizes and dinner. There will also be prizes to be raffled away during the tournament. The Baddicts Stars’ track record echoes their vision of restoring the fun in competitive badminton, breaking away from mainstream tournament handling that ultimately rips off unwary badminton enthusiasts.
