Baby Warriors rout Greywolves

THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors kept in step with the league leaders as they blew out the Don Bosco Greywolves, 85-49, in the Cebu leg of the 2014 Seaoil National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) basketball tournament held last weekend at the Capitol Parish gym.
The Baby Warriors flaunted their size and skills advantage early on as they raced off to a 30-14 lead after the first 10 minutes of action before eventually raising that up to 20, 53-33, at halftime. By then, the writing was already on the wall as USC eventually cruised to the victory.
The Galinato brothers were in their element in that game as Paul Galinato paced the team with 12 while John Galinato and Marc Ting added nine markers apiece.
In another game, the University of San Jose-Recoletos Baby Jaguars edged the Abellana National School, 81-77.
