THE Cebu City police is looking into the possibility that robbery was a motive for the murder of a call center agent in Barangay Pulangbato, Cebu City Monday morning.
Senior Supt. Joel Doria, Cebu City police chief, said they have yet to verify with the medico legal team whether the 24-year-old victim identified as Irene Adolfo was raped by the perpetrator.
Adolfo was found lying face down and lifeless in a grassy area of Sta. Lucia Village in Pulangbato, her face pounded to a bloody pulp.
A rock with traces of blood and strands of hair was found at the crime scene. Her wallet and cell phone were already missing.
Adolfo worked as a call center agent and a local model.
