Teleperformance stays unbeaten after 69-47 rout of Lexmark

THE Teleperformance All-Stars picked up a third straight victory via a 69-47 thumping of the Lexmark Stallions last Saturday in the Elite Classic of the Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball Season 13 at the City Sports Club Cebu Gym.

Mon Xavier Dico piled up 16 points and Marcos Jungoy III scored 12 for Teleperformance, which moved to solo number one spot in the standings after being just one of three teams that have yet to lose in the season.

The other two unbeaten squads in the Elite Classic are the Accenture Sharks and the Supportsave Dragons, who are off to 2-0 (win-loss) starts.
Franco Angelo Cipriano finished with nine points, 10 rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots, while Vill Duero, Jan Oneil Sahilan and Jake Pia each had eight points for the Stallions, who tasted their first loss in three matches.

In the other Elite Classic match, the two-time defending champions Convergys Converters bounced back from a previous loss by downing the Wipro Tigers, 68-57.

Lourenz Limpangog tallied 12 points and Franz Dionne Dysam added 11, as Convergys recovered from a 51-59 loss to the Accenture Sharks and improved to 2-1.

Pol Alfeche scattered 15 points, while Ernie Eric Ygot pitched in 11 in Wipro’s second loss in three outings.

In the EVO League, the Contact Solutions Flying Lemurs stayed spotless by chalking up a 55-51 win over the Teletech Titans, while the Tech Mahindra Tech Mighties prevailed over the Dyninno Jets, 57-49.

Contact Solutions climbed to 3-0 behind the solid outing of Robert Castro Jr., who collected 12 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots.
