MILO Marathon and Cebu City Marathon 21k champion Rafael Pescos showed off his winning form and bagged the 16-kilometer title of the St. Alphonsus Catholic School (Sacs) Fun Run at the Lapu-Lapu City Hall grounds last Sunday.
Pescos finished the race in 56 minutes and 57 seconds to win the men’s title.
Joseph Emia (57:18) and Ryan Quiamco (58:38) were his runners up.
The race had no 16k women’s division.
Other winners were Michael Largo (men’s open 8K), Charrise Encarnacion (women’s open 8K), Kenneth Garyando (men’s 4k), Irish Delechos (women’s 4k), Cordelle Altizo (women’s 16k alumni), Elmer Abing (men’s 16k alumni).
More than a hundred runners joined the annual running event organized by Saint Alphonsus Catholic School in Lapu-lapu City.
The race was technically handled by veteran race director Joel Baring of Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (SAFE).
