THE Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) was nominated as one of the top 3 Police Provincial Offices in the country.
Senior Supt. Eric Noble, Cebu provincial police chief, said this is a first in their history. The CPPO was nominated along with the Bulacan and Sorsogon provincial police.
The CPPO was nominated based on their operations, the 52,000 drug users that surrendered and the 120 barangays cleared of illegal drugs.
“No cash prize, but to be in the top 3 is enough recognition from the president, from the public and the whole country,” Noble said. President Rodrigo Duterte will announce the winner on Aug. 8 at Camp Crame.
