ABOUT 12 persons were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Danao City and Minglanilla town, Cebu, last Saturday.
In Barangay Tuburan Sur, Danao City, police arrested Christian Beloria, who surrendered eight sachets of shabu worth P5,000 at 2 p.m. last Saturday.
An hour later, police arrested drug suspects Riel Miao and Roy Aguilar in Barangay Poblacion, also in Danao City. Both men yielded five sachets of shabu worth P5,000.
Police later arrested seven men identified as Jetson Canoy, Lauro Barcoma, Jelmar Awit, Jose Boot, Jenny Canoy, John Dave Fernandez and Noel Beduya for using shabu in a small hut in Barangay Poblacion.
In Barangay Tulay, Minglanilla town, police arrested two drug suspects identified as Carlito Cañeda, and John Michael Sidon and seized from their possession 17 sachets of shabu.
