SACRED Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles ruled the 2nd SHS-AdC Football Invitational Tournament yesterday at the Fr. Julian Hernando SJ Athletic Field in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.
SHS-AdC defeated Ateneo de Davao, 2-1, behind Chris Osawa’s goals in the fourth and 39th minute.
Simon Guino-o was the lone scorer for the visiting team.
On the road to the finals, the Magis Eagles defeated Giuseppe FC, 2-0, in the quarter finals and Sagay FC, 2-1, in the semifinals.
The 11-aside tournament featured eight 14-under football teams.
