Food chain worker shot down

A FOOD chain crew worker was shot dead by an unidentified robber at MJ Cuenco, Barangay Carreta in Cebu City at past 6 pm Wednesday.

The Mabolo police precinct identified the 21-year-old victim as Crisanto Amoranto, a resident of the area.

Amoranto was about to board a passenger jeepney for work when he noticed an unidentified person held up another there. Amoranto and a traffic enforcer tried to help the victim but he was shot instead.
