CROSSFIT Subtero subdued the Sherilin Plastics, 87-79, in a clash of powerhouse squads in the Competitive Division of the Metro Cebu Basketball League last weekend at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball courts.
Former University of San Carlos Warriors standout Sam Hermosa and Paul Joven did the most damage for Crossfit as the former had 30 points while the latter had 11 assists.
The two teams now own identical 5-2 win-loss records.
In the other match in the same class, Harley-Davidson upended Recover, 108-102, as former Southwestern University Cobra Ian Ortega poured in 31 markers.
In the Recreational Division, Medspacialized downed Author Solutions, 74-61, PD Properties nipped Core Pacific, 61-59, and Gemac Builders got past the Basketballers, 83-69.
