Pilipinas Shell introduces new formulation of V-Power fuels

PILIPINAS Shell launched in Cebu last Friday the new Shell V-Power fuels formulated with the DYNAFLEX Technology.

Present during the launching at the Radisson Blu Cebu Hotel were officials from Pilipinas Shell headed by Fuels Brand Manager Maan Abas, Brands and Communication Manager Raine Capadocia, Marketing Implementer Brandon Briones and Shell Fuels scientist Mae Ascan.

According to Ascan, the new formulation in Shell’s premium V-Power fuels is a result of over five years of work by research and development experts and its roster of 170 fuel scientists across five technology centers.

The DYNAFLEX technology is available on the Shell V-Power Racing, Shell V-Power Gasoline and Shell V-Power Diesel.

Although it was just launched just last week in Cebu, the new fuels have been available all over the country starting June 8.

During the launching, Ascan said the new DYNAFLEX Technology can help restore an engine’s performance and improve efficiency by actively removing and preventing the build-up of fuel system deposits and reducing engine friction.

“We are constantly faced with the challenge to keep up with the rapid evolution of vehicle technology and the changing needs of our customers,” said Anthony Lawrence Yam, Pilipinas Shell Vice President for Retail, in a press statement. “This is why we have spent over half a decade of research and development to produce our best-ever fuel, the new Shell V-Power.”

Shell V-Power is the only fuel co-engineered with and recommended by the iconic Formula 1 race team, Scuderia Ferrari.
