There was some public strip off happening at Oakridge Garden Plaza last July 22 and 23.
Everyone was encouraged to “strip off” to a healthier and fitter lifestyle. Oakridge Business Park held its first Oakridge Fitstrip Bazaar in the
aim to provide healthy and organic products to the people, and motivate them not just to eat healthy but also to live healthy for the mind and body.
A free yoga session in Basic Yoga and Yoga Thai Massage, led by Mary Deen of Love Yoga World, took place at 4 p.m. on Saturday for friends and family who wanted to get started on the mat.
They came prepared in jogging pants and shirts ready to strip themselves off of negative vibes and sweat out
the stress.
Pio Solon of Epic Performance Fitness took center stage for his talk on how to be “IronFit” for the upcoming 2017 Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines which is the country’s biggest triathlon event of the year.
An inviting treat and useful ideas on how to prepare healthy meals for those who are constantly on-the-gofacilitated by Executive Chef Geoffrey Broutin of L’Artisan were shared the following Sunday morning.
Oakridge Fitstrip Bazaar was in partnership with Rustan’s Supermarket Cebu. Fresh fruits and vegetables and selected organic products were displayed. The two-day event was participated in by different brands of food, beauty, and wellness.
Participating food exhibitors included Macology 101, featuring their Salted Egg Potato Chips by Little Chef; Ultra Green Coffee Cebu, an organic coffee that promotes weight loss, lowered blood sugar and cholesterol, and natural detoxification among others; Leylam for shawarma overload; and Thirsty Juices and Shakes for refreshing fruit juices.
The beauty and wellness exhibitors included Human Nature, a social enterprise that sells organic face and skin care products; Mary Kay, a global skin care, and cosmetics company; Gales Garden for refreshing desk cacti and succulents; and event sponsor Globe Telecommunications.
