FILIPINO-CHINESE businessman Peter Lim bemoaned the allegations of drug trafficking lodged against him, saying it has affected his health, his family and made him fear for his life.
“I am scared for my life, but everything is just a fabricated lie,” he told reporters in a press conference Thursday afternoon.
Lim, escorted by his lawyers Miguel Gabionza and Francis Alex Lopez, also released their camp’s statements, which include that of their client’s daughter, Caryl Lim.
Their camp said they have yet to obtain a copy of the complaints and the supporting affidavits from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group with the Department of Justice.
“We’d like to reiterate that Mr. Lim has not met a certain Marcelo Adorco contrary to the reports we found on the Philippine Daily Inquirer,” said Lopez.
