Drug suspect killed, ma-in-law nabbed in drug bust

 

A suspected drug peddler died and his alleged cohort arrested in a drug bust in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City last Wednesday afternoon.

PDEA agent Gelly Robins said Domingo Caballes drew his gun after sensing that he dealt with police during an aborted transaction. His mother-in-law Maternidad Batulan was arrested by police.

Recovered from them were one pistol and 46 small packs of shabu worth P59,000. Batulan is now detained at the PDEA-7 stockade pending the filling of charges against her.
