Game time is at 4 p.m.
Global is currently at third place with a 7-4-2 (win-loss-draw) card worth 25 points behind Kaya FC-Makati and Meralco Manila, who are at first and second place, respectively.
Both Makati and Manila have 27 points but the former holds the top spot for having a six-goal advantage.
Although the home team holds a psychological advantage, Global Cebu head coach Akbar Nawas said that they should not be complacent since they’re playing against a squad hungry for a win.
“It’s always dangerous to play against a team searching for a win,” he said. “If we go out there without the right frame of mind, we might be in trouble.”
Nawas added that their new acquisition in Spanish footballer Rufo Sanchez will be playing in today’s match.
Ilocos is at last place in the standings with a 0-3-10 card for three points.
