ABOUT 39 suspected drug pushers and users were arrested and more than P293,000 worth of shabu were seized in several anti-drug operations in Danao City since Friday afternoon.
Police implemented the so-called “Oplan Limpyo Danao” in barangays Taboc, Camaligbato, Masdan Maslog, Taytay, Poblacion and Hi-way Looc in Danao City from 1 pm last Friday until Saturday dawn.
Jeny Alerta, Jeffrey Capuno, Jovenal Buot, Jonnel Norio, Fritzel Amore and Andrew Buot and 12 other alleged drug peddlers were apprehended by police.
About 20 suspected users were also caught by Danao City police.
Seized from the suspects packs and sachets of shabu worth P293,560 and assorted drug paraphernalia.
All are detained at the Danao City police precinct pending the filing of charges against them.
