CFR STRIKES AGAIN
Liloan Mayor Christina Frasco was enraged by a post of the Cebu Flash Report Facebook page regarding a supposed canine distemper virus outbreak in the northern Cebu town. Frasco clarified that there is no outbreak of any kind in Liloan.
Netizens shared the mayor’s sentiment about spreading fake news on social media.
Ladylyn Labra posted a comment on Facebook saying, “Cebu Flash report, you’re becoming so tactless!”
A netizen using the name Jose Rizal said, “What has the government done to stop these fake news? CFR will continue to do these things if nobody stops them. We should not like or share their posts.”
Edwin Alferez commented, “CFR keeps spreading wrong information.”
Many other netizens simply blurted “Again?” as this was not the first time that CFR misled the public with an incorrect story.
