A couple lost P120 to burglars at their residence in Gorordo Avenue, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City yesterday dawn.
Rudy and Louella Alix, both in their 60s and members of Movement of Livable Cebu, discovered the burglary yesterday afternoon, according to the police.
According to SPO3 Darius Lipanan, investigator of the Fuente Police Station, the Alix couple reported that the incident took place yesterday dawn and they only discovered it in the afternoon.
The couple submitted to the police photos of damaged roll-up steel doors of the living room and front door grill gate of their cafe and broken metal hasp rings of padlocks and the chisel that was used to destroy the locks to gain entry on the residence.
The police also learned in their initial investigation that this is the fourth time that the couple fell victims to burglars
since January this year.
“We will still investigate the matter and identity the suspects,” Lipanan said.
