The film is part of the ongoing Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, which will run until Tuesday, August 22. Candy Pangilinan who plays the role of Ermat shows how she cares for and supports Vanvan (by Paolo Pingol) who wants to become an action star.
The boy’s name is taken from the names of Hollywood action stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Sylvester Stallone.
In the film, Pingol has a brother named Kuya Tano played by Isaac Aguirre. Pangilinan, on her Instagram (@realcandypangilinan), said, “Ang pagmamahal na binibigay ng mga magulang ang dahilan kung bakit tinatawag na special ang children with special needs.”
This comedy and drama film is written and directed by Randolph Longjas. Longjas on his Instragram account (@randolphnotthereindeer) said, “Maraming nagpakita ng pagmamahal kay #VanDammeStallone sa first 2 days! Pero kailangan pa po namin ng tulong ninyo upang makarating ang maganda nilang kwento sa maraming manonood!
