A father and his son who has made the illegal drugs trade as a family business were arrested by the police in Barangay Perelos, Carcar City on Sunday.
Mario Laputan Sr., 54, and Mario Jr., 24, are now detained at the Carcar City police station while police prepare charges for the possession of illegal drugs against them.
Police recovered 5 sachets of suspected shabu, P600 cash and the P200 buy bust money from the suspect’s possession following a buy bust operation in Barangay Perelos.
PO2 Raymond Mance of the Carcar City Police Station said barangay officials tipped police of the illegal drugs business of Mario Sr. and his son.
