This year’s Cebu Food and Beverages Expo (CEFBEX) will again feature the CEFBEX Culinary Cup: Home Chef Edition.

It’s time to tell the world about your family’s rich culinary heritage and show people your cooking expertise.
Or maybe you’ve just come up with a delicious specialty you’ve been dying to share with others? Come on over and show us what you’ve got!
Application period is until September 8 only. The competition is open to all amateur cooks residing in Cebu.

The CEFBEX Culinary Cup: Home Chef Edition was launched at the Cebu Food and Beverages Expo last year where Ann Dala, bagged the first ever Culinary Cup: Home Chef title.
“I’ve had the most remarkable experience joining the CEFBEX Culinary Cup: Home Edition. It inspired me to become an advocate of Food Revolution,” Ann says.
This housewife never thought her cooking skills would be competitive enough to win against other participants, but it did and she came out winning the title. “I’ll forever be grateful to CEFBEX for coming up with an activity like this that encourages moms like me to showcase their skills in the kitchen,” she adds. Who knows, the next title-holder could be you!
Organized by Worldbex Services International, this year’s CEFBEX will be held on October 12-15 at the SM City Cebu, Trade Hall.
Aside from the Home Chef Edition, the expo will also feature the CEFBEX: Culinary Cup Interschool Division where participants from different schools will battle it out in various competitions like latte art, market basket, and fruit carving among many others.
Gates will open at 10 AM and visitors will have until 8 PM to visit the booths, discover various foodie finds, and join the festivities.
