THE PEOPLE’S General 2015 moved up the ranks and gained a tie for second place after they blasted the Bling Nation 2014, 53-26, in Division C of the 22nd Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Basketball Tournament on Wednesday night at the Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue.
The win placed Batch 2015 alongside the 2007 Petron and 2005 Bizol at second place with similar 5-1 (win-loss) records.
Andre Chua scored 17 points, five rebounds and three steals to anchor the lopsided rout.
The 2005 Bizol destroyed the 2011 Bling Nation, 69-41, as Arthur Lao sizzled with 25 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and a blocked shot.
In other Division C games, the 2013 Hyksos smashed the 2004 Radar Tires, 62-48, while the 2006 Prince Warehouse downed 2010 Omega Pain Killer, 51-37.
