4TH ALPHANS RUN meets target

ALPHA Sigma Phi National president Antonio Tompar was overjoyed with the success of the Alphans Run: Run for a Scholar last Sunday in Cebu City.

The race was able to meet its target of 500 runners, which was a big help to raise funds for more deserving scholars.

“I would like to thank the participants for joining us in the Alphans Run. We will support more scholars and we want to double them this year,” said Tompar.

Cherry Andrin and Joseph Mururi captured the top spots in the 12-kilometer open division by clocking in 53 minutes and five seconds and 41:16, respectively.

Other winners were Arnel Tolentino (20:06) and Lovely Andrin (26:28) in the 6k Open, and Ariel Saballa (11:06) and Charisse Encarnacion (14:23) in the 3k Open.
