NORTHERN Star/JPC’s Motorparts and Interpace Computer Systems improved their respective standings after beating separate foes in the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball League (Cecaba) last weekend at the CEC gym.
Northern Star/JPC’s Motorparts routed Dewfoam, 81-58, as Marvin Bauya exploded for 27 points. RJ Lapina had 12 while Clarence Ong and John Avalon added 11 each as Northern Star improved to 3-4 (win-loss).
Meanwhile, Interpace Computer Systems blasted an undermanned Juice Boost, 81-55, for its second win of the competition. Ryan Maderazo and Audrey Ibones formed a formidable 1-2 punch with 27 and 20 points, respectively.
Vincent Sy and Denver Dano chipped in 14 and 12, respectively for Juice Boost which fell to 4-3.
