MURDER AT HOME
Netizens were shocked and outraged upon learning about the murder of female disc jockey and Miss KBP (Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas) 2016 Marie Alexi Bolongaita at her own apartment.
Peta Baring commented, “This news is scary. We can’t really forecast danger at these times. May the soul of the victim rest in peace.”
Twitter user Dominiko tweeted, “She’s killed during the celebration of the Cebu Press Freedom Week. Last Saturday, she was very happy as she turned over the crown to the new Miss Press Freedom.”
Marvin Saceda urged everyone to ensure safety anywhere they go. “Always, always take care. There are still so many criminals lurking around.”
Pepy Billones said the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) should investigate the killing. “I hope the CHR take actions on this senseless crime and that the killer will be punished.”
