OVER 200 body-builders from all over the world will put their well-built and brawny muscles on full display as they compete in the Mr. and Ms. Phil-Asia Bodybuilding Championship which takes place at 4 p.m. today at the Mariner’s Court in Pier One Cebu City.
The competition which drew musclemen and women from Korea, India, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and host Philippines will serve as a qualifier for the Mr. World 2018, which will be held in Cebu on May 31 to June 1 next year.
Organizer Dennis Delgado said that a total of 17 categories will be contested in the event such as the Master’s Class 2 and 1, Mr. Novice, Ms. Fitness, Juniors, Physique 2 and 1 in board shorts, Ms. Shape 2 and 1, Mr. Athletic 2 and 1, Ms. Figure, Ms. Physique, Men’s Bodybuilding Short, Medium and Tall Classes, and Mixed Pairs.
The competition starts at 4 p.m. and tickets are pegged at P150 which will be sold at the venue.
