Cebuano nurse wins Misters of Filipinas 2017-Supranational

CEBUANO nurse Yves Campos, who represented the Filipino Community of Hawaii, won CEBUANO nurse Yves Campos, who represented the Filipino Community of Hawaii, won Misters of Filipinas 2017-Supranational during the pageant held at One Esplanade, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City last Saturday evening.

Campos also received special awards, including Mr. Coco Line and The Last Man standing award during the Fitness Challenge. “I’m so happy and overwhelmed.

I’m totally speechless,” Campos told Cebu Daily News in a Facebook chat.

Campos will represent the country during the Mr. Supranational pageant to be held in Poland on December 2, 2017.

“Every day is perfect. It exceeded my expectations,” he answered when asked what his memorable moment was during the pageant.

Campos, 24, hails from  Talisay City.

He will be going back in  Hawaii next week for work but will return to  the Philippines to prepare for the international competition.

He has been working as a nurse in Hawaii for four years.  Meanwhile, Raven Renz Lansangan of Mabalacat, Pampanga, was named as Misters of Filipinas 2017-International.

Lansangan also received the Best in Ethnic Wear award.

Camarines Sur’s bet Clint Karklins Peralta won the Misters of Filipinas 2017-Man of the World.

Peralta also received Best in Formal Wear, People’s Choice Award, and Mr. Photogenic. Rubi Kust, who represented the Filipino Community of Germany, won Misters of Filipinas 2017-Man of the Year.

Laoag City’s Carlo Pasion was named Misters of Filipinas 2017-Ocean. Pasion also received

Best in Talent, Mr. Anytime Fitness, and  Missosology’s Choice.

Ion Perez of Capas, Tarlac was named as Misters of Filipinas 2017-Universe Tourism.

Perez also received Best in Swimwear, Mr. Critical Beauty, and Mr. Elevatione. Jonathan Maniquis of San Juan Del Monte, Bulacan was 1st runner up.

He also received the Mr. Congeniality award. John Joseph Hipolito of Filipino Community of Italy was 2nd runner up.

Other candidates who made it to the top 15 were Vann Ramos (Cebu), Chris Capistrano (Obando, Bulacan), Neil Erwin Regis (Pangasinan), Andrei Acorda (Tarlac province), Bap Nograles Petel (Davao City), John Marben Segui (Taytay, Rizal), and Ryan Guiao Hernandez (Concepcion, Tarlac). Other special awards during the grand finals were given to Ramos (Mr. David’s Salon and Mr. Gold Leaf Production) and Acorda (Trendsetter).
