THE COLTS beat the Redskins, 12-0, in the Cebu Flag Football League (CFFL) Season 19 last Saturday at the University of Cebu Maritime Education and Training Center football pitch in Mambaling, Cebu City.
The Colts, who shocked the Bengals in their first game, outmatched their opponents to improve to 2-0 (win-loss) in the tournament.
The Rams also have an unblemished 2-0 slate and share the lead with the Colts after rolling past the Eagles, 23-0.
In the other game, The Packers tied their record at 1-1 after a close 12-6 victory over the Steelers in the day’s opening game.
The Seahawks also picked themselves up from a sorry loss against the Steelers by nipping the Raiders, 8-0.
Six out of the ten teams competing will advance to the playoffs with the top two teams given a bye.
The bottom four will slug it out in the first round of the playoffs and the winners will battle the waiting two teams in the next stage.
