Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza lead 3rd batch of EdukCircle Awardees

THE 7th EdukCircle Awards awarded its third batch of honorees at the AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City.

Leading the awardees were Alden Richards who was named Most Influential Male Celebrity Endorser of the Year and Maine Mendoza who was honored as Most Influential Female Celebrity Endorser of the Year.

Both were present during the awarding ceremony held Saturday afternoon and thanked EdukCircle for the recognition and their fans for their support.

Also on hand to receive their awards were Marian Rivera-Dantes who was named Most Influential Female Celebrity Endorser and Dingdong Dantes who was recognized as Most Influential Movie Actor of the Year.

Fellow Kapuso star Jennylyn Mercado won the Most Influential Film Actress of the Year award.

Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin received the Best Actress in a Single Performance award for her role in the “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode titled “Kotse-Kotsehan.”

The other awardees were Vilma Santos (Most Influential Film Actress of the Year), Angelica Panganiban (Most Influential Film Actress of the Year), Birit Queens – Morissette Amon, Angeline Quinto, Jona and Klarisse de Guzman (Most Influential Concert Performers of the Year),  Iñigo Pascual (Male Music Artist of the Year), Yeng Constantino (Female Music Artist of the Year), Luis Manzano (Best Game Show Host), Arjo Atayde (Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series), Maymay Entrata (Best Novelty Song Artist of the Year), James Reid (Most Influential Male Celebrity Endorser of the Year), Coco Martin (Most Influential Film Actor of the Year), Liza Soberano (Most Influential Film Actress of the Year) and Enrique Gil (Most Influential Film Actor of the Year).

According to www.edukcircle.com, Dir. Alexander M. Baltazar, chairman of the EdukCircle International Center for Communication Studies (ICCS) founded the EdukCircle Awards in August 2011.

The awards aims to recognize celebrities who have excelled in Philippine television and film. The jury includes deans, academic chairs, school officials from different schools in the country.
