The former “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010” big winner will topbill a new movie with no less than Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo.
Reid revealed his latest project with Geronimo during celebrity name drop game of ASAP Chillout last weekend.
“I’m excited that soon we are going to have a movie together,” he said. Reid said that the movie, which will be the Filipino remake of the Korean film, “Miss Granny” will be like Zac Efron’s “17 Again.”
As seen in the video released by ABS-CBN’s ASAP Chillout, Maris Racal asked Reid if they are targeting to release the film for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). “I don’t think so,” Reid answered but said the movie will be released this year.
His girlfriend, Nadine Lustre will not be part of the movie but Reid revealed that Lustre will be working on her solo movie soon. Reid and Geronimo have been performing in ASAP, the latest of which was their duet of Louis Tomlinson’s “Back To You” last Sunday.
“Sarah is definitely one of the greatest performers I’ve worked with,” Reid said.
