MB Scalar topped Team Mamba, 82-70, to seal the top seed in the semifinals of the Homeboys Basketball 4th Randall Cup at the Archdiocesan Shrine of San Nicolas gym last Saturday.
Gil Dela Cerna and John Carlo Salinas spearheaded the winning team with 26 and 20 points, respectively.
MB Scalar will battle against fourth-seed Futuro Sport/Nexcare in the semis this Saturday.
Bryan Negapatan had 17 points for Team Mamba. Despite the loss, Team Mamba still secured the third spot and will battle second-seed Homeboys Original.
