“I’m quite pleased the way the boys played. We’ve were beaten but we put up a fight.”

Meanwhile, Global Cebu head coach Akhbar Nawas is a bit worried with the team’s recovery in the coming games. Global Cebu is set to face the Stallions Laguna FC on Nov. 2 in Biñan, Laguna, first before taking on Ilocos United three days after.

“The matches are quite close and recovery for us is important. We have to recover well and prepare the players for each match,” said Nawas.
