‘LOVE DOES NOT SEE GENDER’
It was definitely one of the highlights of the first-ever Binibining Cebu when one of its contestants revealed that she is into a relationship with another female.
The pageant venue was filled with praises for the 17-year-old beauty queen who proved that #LoveWins, no matter the gender.
Several netizens also lauded the contestant’s brave heart for revealing her relationship in front of the huge crowd.
Chery Mabandos commented on Facebook, “She was just being honest. And I think that was right.”
Rex Jerus replied on Twitter, “It was very brave of her to tell people who she is and who she loves. Everyone should be like her.”
Zy Gonzales also wrote, “Idol. Her heart is so pure and sincere. If everyone is just as brave and honest as her, I think we’ll all be better people.”
Judy Pellerin commented, “She is a good example to everyone – free and brave. It’s okay to fight for who and what you love as long as you don’t hurt anybody. That revelation made her more beautiful.”
