Artists Wonggoys, Thinking Chair, Groovematics, Coolie Dreads and the Microphone Commander, and Silingan ni Felicity will also join in the fun as UP Cookout 2017 promotes and supports homegrown music.

Cookout highlights UP talents in five segments: Kantahan, Sayawan, Bandahan, Rampahan and Panulaan. “We want to raise the social issue Cookout brings, through the performances of our very own UP students, as a medium to connect and communicate with the community at large,” Toabi added.
