THE REMAINS of the late actress Isabel Granada will be brought back to the Philippines tomorrow.

This was revealed by Joseph Rivera, Granada’s cousin, in a Facebook post.

“Thank you Jexx Fernandez of Al Waji Saloon in Royal Plaza for our refreshing looks in preps for Isabel Granada’s trip back home this Wednesday,” Rivera captioned a  photo of him with Arnel Cowley, Granada’s husband.

The actress died on November 4 at  Hamad General ospital in Doha, Qatar after more than a week of being comatose because of aneurysm. She was 41 years old. Cowley posted on his Facebook account how much he misses his wife.

“Oh how I wish that I can hold you around my arms again. Oh how I wish that I can have another day with you. Part of me also died the day you left me. I love you so much and miss you being beside me always. You have given me happiness since the day we reunited again. I wish that we could have been together forever. My Baby Isabel Granada,” Cowley said.

Meanwhile, Granada’s ex-husband Jericho Aguas—with whom she has a 14-year-old son named Hubert—made an emotional post about Granada on  Facebook. He shared a video of their 2002 wedding, which was uploaded by Eduard Paraiso.

“There is no such thing as a “broken family.” Family is family, and it is not determined by marriage certificates, divorce papers, and adoption documents. Families are made in the heart. The only time family becomes null is when those ties in the heart are cut. If you cut those ties, those people are not your family. If you make those ties, those people are your family. And if you hate those ties, those people will still be your family because whatever you hate will always be with you. Hindi man nag-work ang ating marriage,  pero lubos ang aking pasasalamat sa pag spend mo ng buhay with me for more than a decade …”  Aguas said in his post.

Several showbiz personalities extended their condolences to Granada’s family and loved ones.

Among them were Chuckie Dreyfuss (Granada’s love team partner in the variety show, “That’s Entertainment”), Lea Salonga, Maine Mendoza, Assunta de Rossi, Camille Prats-Yambao, Paolo Ballesteros, Juan Miguel Severo, Kris Bernal, Jak Roberto, Janno Gibs, Jaya,  Gardo Versoza, Lolit Solis, Christine Babao, Maxene Magalona, Joey Javier Reyes, and Jim Paredes.
