An ex-boyfriend of a 16-year-old girl was collared tonight after he was entrapped by operatives of the anti cyber crime unit (ACCU) of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas after the victim and her mother sought police help.
Chief Inspector Leo Dofiles, regional chief of the anti cybercrime office, told Cebu Daily News by phone that the victim went to the police because her former boyfriend threatened to post her nude photos on social media if she would not go back to him.
With the aid of police operatives, the girl, a resident of a southern Cebu town, met the man who was immediately arrested after he again made the threat against the girl.
The suspect is now held at the ACCU and will face child abuse, pornography, and grave threat charges.
