Cebu’s promising taekwondo stars showcased their skills in the UAAP taekwondo poomsae tournament on Tuesday at the Blue Eagle Gym in Manila.
McAvengyr Alob of De La Salle University (DLSU) led the list of Cebuano winners in the competition as he won a gold in the team poomsae event.
University of the Philippine’s (UP) Lyam Llanto, meanwhile, settled for avsilver in the same category.
In the women’s competition, 2017 SEA Games bronze medalist Rinna Babanto bagged a silver in the individual women’s poomsae event.
Alob also won a bronze in the individual men’s category.
