Charges readied against two men for duel

Two men sustained gunshot wounds during a gun duel at Climaco Extension, Barangay Poblacion, Toledo City last Sunday evening, November 19.

PO3 Carlos Barluado, desk officer of the Toledo City police precinct, identified the men as Ronnie Mahinay, of Climaco Extension, Barangay Poblacion, Toledo City and Adonis Amicable of Barangay Luray 2, Toledo City.

The two were allegedly harboring personal grudges against each other, Barluado said. Both were rushed to separate hospitals after they shot each other’s legs.
Only one gun was recovered in the crime scene. Charges will be filed against them, Barluado said.
