BACK ON THE DRIVER’S SEAT
Netizens were split on President Rodrigo Duterte’s plan to reinstate the Philippine National Police to its lead role in his administration’s war on illegal drugs.
A netizen named Efren Quijano wrote on Facebook: “Go go Pnp ibalik ang Anti illegal Drug Group para tapusin na ang War on Drug ni Pres Duterte (Go, go PNP! Bring the Anti-Illegal Drug Group back to finish the War on Drugs of President Duterte).”
Bo Dong also wrote, “Yes! Bring back Oplan Tokhang please.”
But Pepe Asis thinks otherwise: “Laban o bawi sabi ni Duterte hindi na sya makialam sa war on drugs ipa ubuya nlang nya sa PDEA (Duterte decides and retracts. He said he wouldn’t touch the war on drugs anymore. He should let PDEA handle it).”
