TRAGIC DEATHS

Netizens have nothing but sympathy to the families of Louis Mitchell Nayre Ferolin and Alexa Eddy Ceniza Carvajal, the two Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) nursing graduates who died in a car crash on the day they passed the Nurse Licensure Examination conducted in November.

Elvhie Cabonillas wrote, “Kaluoy uy! Mag pasko pa naman unta. Naa pay New Year nga umaabot, Piro wajud twon sila kaabot (It’s a pity since its Christmastime and the New Year is approaching). Rest in peace the two of you and condolence to sa ilang family.”

Shanina Garcia also wrote, “In times like this, we can reflect how we need to value life and thank God for all the blessing we received. Condolence sa ilang family.”

A close friend of Ferolin named Fatima Ete, who is in New Jersey, USA, when the incident happened, wrote on her Facebook wall the hurt she felt when she learned sbout the news.
“I can’t even begin to explain how much it hurts knowing the last time I saw you was the last time. Mao na toh? Bati a ato Lou oy. You were the best jud Lou. You cared so much for me and took care of me. I don’t think I will ever stop hurting over what happened. And I don’t want it to stop hurting. You were always there for me. Always. And I wasn’t.Here I am again letting you down by not being there,” said Ete.
