Pagasa lifts Cebu storm warning

State meteorologists from the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) have lifted Storm Signal No.1 from Cebu and other neighboring provinces in the Visayas as Tropical Depression “Agaton” is expected to barrel Puerto Princesa, Palawan tomorrow morning.

The 2 p.m. severe weather bulletin of Pagasa revealed that the eye of Agaton was in 265-kilometers west of Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental.

Agaton, moving west at a speed of 28 kilometers per hour, is packing winds up to 65 kilometers per hour.

The province of Palawan, including Cuyo Island, is placed under Signal No.1.
