GLOBAL Cebu FC’s former captain Misagh Bahadoran decided in the last minute to sign up with Perak The Bos Gaurus (TBG) Football Club instead of the Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) last December 28.
The 30-year-old Bahadoran chose to suit up with the Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia-based squad formerly known as Perak Amateur Football Association (PAFA) that is currently playing in the primary division of the Malaysian Super League.
Croatian striker Marco Simic, who was supposed to sign together with Bahadoran, also turned down Kelantan and chose to play with the Persija Seapk Bola Indonesia Jakarta in the Indonesia League 1.
Bibi Ramjani Ilias Khan, the president of the KAFA, expressed his disappointment on the recent development, especially since the team already bought tickets for the two to Kota Bahru, Malaysia, in preparation for the contract signing.
“It does not matter that they decided to play elsewhere,” Bibi said in an article at aseanfootball.org. “But they should have informed us earlier instead of at the very last minute.”
