Taga Mandaue Inc. (TMI), in cooperation with the Mandaue City government, introduces a new and grander Panagtagbo Festival Week 2018 in line with its aim to deepen the people’s faith in God and the Holy Family and to strengthen the tourism sector of Mandaue.
Slated this January 12 to 19, the 4th Panagtagbo Festival will feature an exhibit, a grander street dancing competition, and two new events – a night festival and the Festival Queen showdown.
Featuring 30 exhibitors of valuable Sagrada Familia collections, this year’s Sagrada Familia Exhibit will run from January 12 to 22 on the second floor of Parkmall.
Eight clusters composed of all the barangays in Mandaue City will be competing in the Panagtagbo Street Dancing Competition on January 19 at 3 to 5 PM. The street dance parade will pass through Tipolo, Guizo and P. Burgos St.
One of the newest additions to this exciting festival is the Panagtagbo Festival Queen Showdown. Festival Queens from all the eight clusters will showcase their grace and beauty at the Mandaue Sports Complex on January 19, 8 PM.
This year’s festival will mark the first Panagtabo Food, Beverage and Lifestyle Night Festival. A night market that promotes the city by showcasing Mandaue-made retail and food & beverage products. Located along Zamora St., the night market will run from January 12 to 19 at 5 PM onwards. Start-up entrepreneurs who are interested to join may send a message to TMI’s Facebook page @tagamandaueinc.
