A STUDENT’S HOAX

Netizens were aghast and outraged after learning that the 21-year-old student who was reported to be kidnapped last Monday admitted that it was a hoax meant to cover up her loss of school money.

Princess Seno wrote, ”If money was her problem, she could have just talked it out with her parents. She caused a lot of fuss to the Cebuanos … tsk.”

Carlo Emmanuel wrote, ”She is already a college student, nganong naka hunahuna siya ani? Tungod jud nis mga teleserye ba na drama kaayu. Drama pud kaayu noon nis ate haha (Why did she think this up? It’s because of the soap operas. It’s her drama haha).”

While Edgard Luzano wrote, ”Gi unsa diay niya ang kwarta ani oi (What did she do with the money)? Even if iyang na wala no or na gasto, mo sulti ta siya sa tinood, impossible kaayu iyang mga ditalye oi, pang (Even if she lost it or spent it, she should tell the truth, the details of her story are unbelievable it’s like) Wildflower kaayu!”
