GLOBAL Cebu FC will have a new player in Florencio “Jun” Badelic Jr., who was loaned by the dissolved FC Meralco Manila last Saturday.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper made frequent appearances during the first season of the Philippines Football League (PFL) as part of the first stringers of FC Meralco Manila.
Badelic Jr. played a major role in the Philippines’ Under-23 team, where he showcased his skills in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup back in 2015.
The young lad was also tested in the country’s game against Singapore in the 2015 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
