Carnapper arrested in hot pursuit operation

A man was arrested in a hot pursuit operation by the Consolacion Police in Sitio Kalubihan, Barangay Banilad, Cebu City on Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect was identified as Jerry Donahan, 19, who allegedly carnapped a Honda wave motorcycle owned by Reymiarvi Timtim Vidal, 25, from Sitio Ibabao, Brgy. Tugbongan, Consolacion Cebu.

Consolacion Police chief Roderick Gonzalez said that Vidal reported the carnap incident around 1 p.m. who then conducted a follow-up operation that resulted in the arrest of Donahan.

Donahan is now detained in the Consolacion jail pending the filing of charges against him.
