Outrage over dad, cop’s casino arrest
Netizens have expressed outrage over the arrest of a policewoman and a municipal councilor who were caught gambling inside a casino in Lapu-Lapu City.
Puck’s Carding Panugaling wrote, “Dako naman ug puhonan kai gi patas an man ang sweldo.” (He has enough money to gamble because of the increase in the police’s salary.)
Another netizen named Noel Noriel said, “Marami pa dyan nag susugal na mga malaking politiko or mga general … huhulihin dn ninyo yan.” (There are still many big politicians or even generals who gamble … arrest them also.)
Dong Qui commented, “Patay kang konsehal ka.” (You’re doomed councilor.)
