Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) has its eyes set on young Cebuano riders as it launched last Thursday the Honda Big Bike showroom in Cebu at the Honda Flagship Shop along Salinas Drive in Lahug, Cebu City.
HPI president Daiki Mihara said the opening of the new showroom that features a fleet of new big bike models is expected to answer to the needs of young Cebuanos’ who go for classy, adventurous and fast two-wheel rides.
“Last December 2017, we’ve already launched our latest collection in Manila, however, since we consider Cebu as one of the important markets, we also see the value of showcasing our latest Honda big bikes collection to the Cebuano public,” Mihara said. “And one of our markets for this is really the young solo users, especially in the metro areas and we also want to improve our Honda brand image to the younger generation.”
Their new showroom, which houses a total of eight new Honda big bike models, has a total land area of 2,344 square meters.
The opening was attended by different riders in Cebu. Also present were HPI Assistant Vice President and Adviser of the MC Sales Department Masahide Hirose and DU EK SAM Inc. Vice President for operations and planning Ryan Lim.
The big bikes are specially made for thrill-seekers and adventurers and are also designed to deliver the speed and performance suited for highway and rough terrain cruising.
The Honda big bikes are categorized into four types: the Roadster, Sport/Racer, Traveler, and New Adventure. Their prices range from P369,000 to P1.35 million.
Among the models include the the Rebel, the CBR1000RR Fireblade SP, the CB500X, the CRF1000L AFRICA TWIN, and the X-ADV.
The Big Bike showroom is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
