THE country’s best cue masters will invade Cebu to take part in the 10-Ball Open Billiard Tournament on February 19 to 23 at the Big Boom sa Sugbo in South Road Properties (SRP), Cebu City.
No less than Filipino legend and World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) champion Efren “Bata” Reyes will take part in the five-day tournament.
Reyes will be joined by the 2017 World Nine Ball Champion and 2017 World Games Nine Ball Champion Carlo Biado, 2010 World Nine Ball Champion Francisco “Django” Bustamante and the 2006 WPA World Nine Ball Champion Ronnie “The Volcano” Alcano, who also won the 2007WPA World Eight Ball title.
A total of P320,000 will be given away to the winners. The champion will walk away with a whopping P110,000. Second placer will bag the P70,000, third placer takes P50,000 and fourth place to pocket P30,000.
The top 12 participants will be given P5,000 each as a consolation prize.
